- Organize, minimize, and back up my entire digital (computer) archive (music, images, documents, files, etc.)
- [MARCH] five miles less
- Drive/walk a bit slower than necessary; create space to actually notice the world around me as I pass through it
- [APRIL] H2only
- Drink only water; nothing else
- [MAY] buy no-thing
- Defy consumerism, save more, shop less (with the exception of household items – fuel, groceries, bills, etc. – and food)
- [JUNE] walk to Holland
- If it’s in Holland, I walk; use the car only when traveling out of town
- [JULY] sanschedule
- Live without a schedule; plan things as they happen/day of rather than planning ahead
- [AUGUST] no pixels after nine
- Turn of all pixilated screens at 9p and leave them off until the following morning
- [SEPTEMBER] three sentences
- Send all emails using three sentences or less (with the exception of weekly information emails for work)
- [OCTOBER] threemail
- Check and send email only three times a day (morning, afternoon, evening)
- [NOVEMBER] inter-not
- Post zero updates to twitter/facebook or any other online social network (with the exception of pre-set auto-updates from blogs, etc.)
- [DECEMBER] minus one
- identify (at least) one thing each day that I no longer need and give/throw it away
52 weeks of family
Call, email, write, or visit family at least once a week
365 days of eating everything
Eat anything and everything put in front of me, becoming the world’s least picky eater.
Never order the same thing twice from a restaurant until I’ve ordered the entire menu, become the world’s most versatile eater.
